Convert Navy Federal bank statement PDF to Excel
Navy Federal statements are credit-union documents. Share draft and checking PDFs often use separate debit and credit columns rather than a single signed amount. GetBankExcel treats a number in the debit column as money out and a number in the credit column as money in, then checks opening plus credits minus debits against the ending balance. A running balance, when printed, has to agree row by row.
Multi-page statements repeat the header and sometimes print a balance-forward line that is not a new transaction. Those lines are skipped so the same dollars are not counted twice. The carried balance still has to agree with the last real row on the previous page, because each following row is checked against the balance it prints.
Navy Federal is not affiliated with GetBankExcel. Membership in the credit union is not required to use the converter, and the converter does not verify membership. Bring a PDF you already downloaded from your own records. Scanned copies are turned away without a charge when no OCR provider is configured. Review the output; it is not financial, tax, or legal advice.

Questions
Are debit and credit columns required?
No. A single amount column works too. Separate columns are used when the header names them.
What is skipped on later pages?
Repeated headers, page numbers, and balance-forward lines that restate a balance already counted.
