GetBankExcel

Privacy

GetBankExcel converts a PDF you upload into a spreadsheet. The original PDF is read in memory and is not saved. The parsed table is encrypted and kept only so you can preview and download it.

That temporary object expires within one hour. The first download shortens that to 15 minutes. A purge job runs every 15 minutes and deletes expired objects. Conversion history, if you have an account, stores the date, a redacted filename label, a hash of the original filename, the page count, the guessed bank, and the status. It does not store transaction rows or the PDF.

An account is an email address plus a session cookie. The magic link is single-use. In local development the link is shown on screen and no email is sent. If the operator later adds an email provider, the message contains only the sign-in link.

Payments are handled by Stripe. This deployment refuses to start if a live secret key is present. We store the Stripe customer id so you can open the billing portal and so a purchase can be credited. We do not store card numbers.

Server logs record conversion ids, page counts, timings, and error codes. They are written to omit filenames, email addresses, account numbers, and parsed rows. Delete my data removes the user, the ledger, the history, and asks Stripe to delete the customer when a test key is configured.
