Convert Bank of America bank statement PDF to Excel
Bank of America deposit statements often split money in and money out, with descriptions that run long and a balance that updates on each posted line. Credit-card PDFs from the same company tend to list purchases as positive amounts and payments as amounts that reduce the balance. GetBankExcel looks for those column headers — date, description, debit, credit, amount, balance — and assigns each word by its horizontal position.
You can try a file without creating an account. The first rows stay readable; later rows are hidden in the page and are not included in the preview response until a download is unlocked. Pages are counted when you unlock a download, not when the preview is built. A free download covers one statement a day of up to five pages. A $9 pack covers 50 pages for 30 days, and Starter covers 400 pages each billing cycle.
Bank of America does not operate this site and has not reviewed it. Treat the spreadsheet as a draft. If the badge says rows need review, those highlighted lines are the ones to compare with the PDF before you import them anywhere else. Scanned images are declined, with no charge, when OCR is not configured.

Questions
Do deposits and withdrawals stay in separate columns?
When the PDF prints them in separate columns, the export keeps Debit and Credit as their own fields, plus a signed Amount.
Are my transactions stored?
The parsed rows live in an encrypted temporary object and are deleted within an hour, or 15 minutes after the first download.
