Convert Capital One bank statement PDF to Excel
Capital One issues both bank accounts and credit cards, and the PDFs do not share one shape. Card statements usually show a previous balance, payments, and purchases that print as positive charges. Deposit statements look more like a checking ledger. GetBankExcel decides which formula to use from the wording and the column headers, then shows the formula it actually applied in the badge above the table.
A card that reconciles will read as opening plus charges minus payments equals the new balance. A deposit account that reconciles will read as opening plus credits minus debits equals the closing balance. If the math is off, you get a count of rows to review instead of a green check. That is the point of the preview: you can see the failure before you download.
Capital One is not connected to this site. There is no account aggregation and no request for online-banking credentials. The upload limit is 20 MB and 100 pages. Files over the free daily size, or a second free file the same day, stop at the paywall. Test-mode card payments are the only payments this build will create; a live secret key stops the server from starting.

Questions
Why are card purchases positive?
On many card statements the charge prints as a positive number because it increases the balance you owe. Payments reduce that balance.
What if the PDF is a scan?
You will see a short message that scanned PDFs are not supported yet, and the attempt is not billed.
