Convert Chase bank statement PDF to Excel

Chase checking and credit-card PDFs usually open with a statement period, a beginning or previous balance, and a table of posted activity. Dates are often month and day, merchant lines wrap, and a running balance sits toward the right edge. GetBankExcel reads the text layer of the PDF you upload and groups words that share a line, so a wrapped merchant name stays with its amount instead of becoming a stray row.

The preview shows Date, Description, Debit, Credit, Amount, and Balance. Deposit statements are checked as opening balance plus credits minus debits, compared with the closing figure printed on the PDF. Card statements are checked as opening plus charges minus payments, because a purchase increases what you owe. Rows that break the running balance are marked for review.

This is not a Chase product, and Chase is not involved in the conversion. Statement layouts change, and two accounts at the same bank can still look different. A photographed or scanned PDF has no text layer to read unless you configure your own OCR key. The original file is not stored; the parsed table is encrypted and removed within an hour, or sooner after you download. Review the sheet before you rely on it for bookkeeping or taxes.

Questions

Will every Chase layout match?

No layout is guaranteed. The balance check is there so you can see whether the rows add up to the closing balance on that particular PDF.

Is GetBankExcel affiliated with Chase?

No. Upload a PDF you already have. There is no bank login and no connection to Chase.
